drawn i am with much haste

as all the sounds around

fade away in an instant

all the lights seem to fall

fall just on your face

as they glimmer in your eyes

those lights flash around you

your every feature

brought to life in bold

for that short glimpse

you enveloped me in awe

i stood before you

standing helplessly drawn

as you took over me

with just that one

that one hypnotic glimpse

but as all sanity

was just about to slip away

you raise your hand

and place your finger

gently on your lips

in a sweet caress

and whispers

h u s h

and i closed my eyes

in silent consent

and my mind was free

free of worries

free of thoughts

my body was free of burdens

free of weight

free of gravity

and in that i found my escape

my secret escape in you

but as fate you tease

so would you

slowly the sounds echo once more

the realism of touch is regained

the consciousness awaken

as i open my eyes

all i saw was you

your image slowly fading away

before my very eyes

fading as you bid good night

with your little hush tonight

i smile in silent resolve

and return to my peace
